Zain KSA announced the addition of new bundles for distance learning for both prepaid and postpaid users at competitive prices including VAT. The new packages will offer students and teachers alike in the Kingdom the advantage of browsing all educational websites affiliated with the Ministry of Education and platforms used by schools, without incurring any data consumption.

The first offer directed at students at SAR 50 including VAT, providing unlimited data for the “Ain” portal and “Madrasati” platform, and for attending classes remotely. The second, dedicated to teachers through a special offer that includes a free laptop, a 5G router, 5G internet capacity of 100 GB, with unlimited browsing of the platforms: "Madrasati", Teams, Zoom and Skype, for only SAR 300 per month.

In addition, in line with the company's support for the educational process and social initiatives, it will offer a one month 50% discount on Zain Fiber’s new subscriptions. These offers from "Zain KSA" come in line with the Saudi Ministry of Education's decision to adopt remote education during the first seven weeks of the 2020-2021 academic year, in a bid to protect the community and ensure student’s safety in line with the government’s efforts to curb the spread of the global pandemic COVID-19.

Notably, Zain KSA provides 5G services in 38 cities around the Kingdom. It came in first in rolling out 5G services in 12 out of 13 administrative regions in Saudi Arabia, according to CITC’s latest report. In addition, Zain KSA was the fastest in reaching Zoom and Microsoft Teams apps., a direct outcome of its investment in supporting the educational aspect and facilitating distance learning, as well as developing remote work initiatives. The company was also ranked first in speed of access to 4 out of 5 electronic games measured by the same report, including: Fortnite, FIFA20, APEX, and League of Legends.

These achievements come in line with the international recognition of the level of excellence achieved by the company in obtaining the Kingdom’s fastest fixed internet award from Ookla, the owner of the famous SpeedTest, the globally acclaimed internet speed measuring website.
