Manama Bahrain: The Tender Board, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 26 bids related to 4 tenders for 3 purchasing authorities and request for prequalification from Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).

During the meeting, one tender was opened for the Ministry of Health for the purchase of glucose strips for self-testing with meters and control material, for which 7 bids were received. One tender was opened for Tamkeen to develop a comprehensive project that aims to enhance Bahrain’s artisanal wealth, expose artists and artisans to the local and international community for Artbab Fair in Bahrain. 2 bids were received for this tender.

In the oil and gas sector, two tenders were opened for Bapco. The first was for the supply of heat exchangers and components; 3 bids were received for this tender. The second was for the upgrade of the hydro desulphurization unit, for which 1 bid were received.

Finally, the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) also launched a request for prequalification of manufacturers of electronic smart water meters, 13 applications were received for this invitation.
