Ticket prices for domestic workers flying to Kuwait from India $459, Philippines $656.8

KUWAIT CITY: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated an application to book tickets by sponsors of domestic workers is approved which will be managed by NASS Ground Services.

The ticket price for Indian domestic workers flying on Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways will range from 140 KD to 160 KD.

For Filipino workers prices may reach upto KD 200, the prices may be further reduced through Kuwait Airways, reports Al Anba.

Jazeera Airways does not fly to the Philippines.

The first plan will start from 7th Dec and it is expected that half of 80,000 domestic workers will be back in Kuwait within one and half month to two months as either the sponsors have failed to renew the residence or the maids are unwilling to return to Kuwait.
