Alef Group announced on Monday that it would deliver first phase of the 3 billion UAE dirhams ($817 million) Al Mamsha, Sharjah's first fully walkable community project, by the end of December 2020.

Up to 62 percent of the flagship project's Phase I has been completed and 693 units would be ready for handover by December 2020, the developer said in a press statement.

The Al Mamsha project is strategically located beside 88 shops and an extensive range of residential and active retail and leisure districts.

The statement said 41 percent of Phase II, which consists of 927 housing units, has been completed and handover is expected to start by the beginning of June 2021.
