Mubasher: Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Kuwait increased by 2.03% during 2019, according to the data of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK).

Last year, FDI in Kuwait totalled KWD 4.52 billion ($14.72 billion), up from KWD 4.43 billion ($14.42 billion) in 2018.

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2019, FDI increased by 6.13% to KWD 4.50 billion, compared with KWD 4.24 billion in Q4-18, and growing by 2.04% on a quarterly basis.

International investments grew by 2.23% to KWD 34.82 billion, up from KWD 34.06 billion in 2018.
