Kuwait - The value of the issues of bonds and related tawarruq issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) declined by 6.67% year-on-year during the first nine months of 2019, according to a survey conducted by Mubasher.

The value of CBK’s bonds and related tawarruq issued in the nine-month period ended September reached KWD 6.02 billion ($19.87 billion), compared to KWD 6.45 billion ($21.29 billion) in the year-ago period.

It is worth mentioning that bonds and related tawarruq are offered by the CBK to regulate liquidity in the market.
