Doha – Qatar: Qatargas’ Learning and Development (L&D) Department has hosted a fun-filled, interactive learning exhibition which offered employees valuable learning opportunities and familiarised them with various L&D services.

The event, titled “Learning EXPO 2018 – Commitment to Excellence,” was held at Qatargas’ Headquarters in Doha on 2nd of May and its North and South plants in Ras Laffan from 7th to 10th of May. During the event, the participants got the opportunity to meet the L&D team and participated in fun-filled learning activities, learning games, and bite-size learning sessions.

There were three in-house training sessions for employees who were interested in learning more about the Individual Development Plan (IDP) System for National Graduates and their Coaches, Gas Value Chain Fundamentals and special awareness sessions based on the book “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R Covey. A special booth titled “My Career Path” provided National Graduates an opportunity to imagine their future with Qatargas.

Moreover, several interactive learning games were held to offer fun-filled learning.  For example, a crossword that contained questions related to the services of the Competence Development & Performance Management division, Guess the Behavioral Competence, Inside Out: a personality questionnaire that included questions on individual styles and preferences and Brain Teaser, a paper-based activity with six different characters each representing a separate puzzle related to Learning & Development department PRIDE Values.

On the sidelines of the event, Qatargas' Medical Department hosted a “Health Check Booth” that conducted general health tests for employees and answered queries related to their health.
