Digital marketplace Noon on Tuesday announced that it has inked a new partnership with e-commerce company eBay Inc to facilitate delivering US products to the region.

Noon, which is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), the kingdom's main sovereign wealth fund, and a group of Gulf investors, will deliver all eBay orders made on noon to the customer’s doorstep, according to the company’s recent statement.

“Noon is connecting the region with the global e-commerce market through our partnership with eBay,” Mohamed Alabbar, Noon founder, commented.

Alabbar noted that the company offers its customers access to products that are not available in the region. “Our partnership with eBay opens a whole new world of shopping experience,” he added.

Noon powered by eBay will come into force by the second half of 2018 in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia through an application via mobile and desktop.

“E-commerce continuously evolves, and this partnership guarantees noon stays on top of the trends and consumer preferences,” Alabbar said.
