Sharjah: The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, HFZA, announced that it is sponsoring the Sharjah Department of e-Government’s pavilion at the 39th GITEX Technology Week, which kicked off yesterday (Sunday) at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

During the five-day event scheduled to conclude on October 10, the Sharjah Department of e-Government will showcase a variety of online and technical services provided by 33 government departments and entities.

HFZA stressed that its sponsorship of the pavilion comes as part of its efforts to highlight the digital and smart transformations being witnessed by the Emirate on all levels and to support Sharjah’s modern and sophisticated business environment.

Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi, Director General of Sharjah Department of e-Government, lauded HFZA’s sponsorship, stressing that the Hamriyah Free Zone plays a significant role in attracting foreign investments to Sharjah thanks to its diverse services that meet all needs of investors.

 “Sharjah e-Government’s pavilion will shed light on the emirate’s leadership in the digital transformation field and how it is capable of harnessing different technologies to serve its development journey”, Al Qassimi said.

H.E. Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, reaffirmed HFZA’s constant commitment to collaborate with government departments and entities in Sharjah to render the best services to the private sector.

This comes in implementation of the wise vision of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which aims to support the digital transformation and enhance its applications on all services provided in Sharjah”, Al Mazrouei added.

He underscored that Sharjah e-Government pavilion is a must-stop for all investors and businessmen looking forward to investing in Sharjah.

“Through its participation in GITEX Technology Week, HFZA will highlight its latest electronic and smart services that made it an ideal and top destination for investors”, Al Mazrouei further said.

He noted that HFZA spares no effort in harnessing the newest technologies and innovations to enhance the experience of investors and customers, and develop their businesses, by offering a range of innovative online services that accelerate procedures, and position the Free Zone as a hub for expanding businesses, and exporting products and services to nearby and distant markets.

 “Investors can easily set up their projects in the Free Zone and conclude all transactions in one hour using an innovative electronic platform, which HFZA developed as part of its plans to attract investors and quality projects”, HFZA director added.
