Dubai - Emirates Cooperative Society – the leading grocer in the UAE, recently inaugurated their latest 'Mini-Mart' at Zayed University Dubai Campus. This launch is part of their expansion plans as announced by the board at the annual general meeting held earlier this year. The Mini Mart is centrally located within the atrium at the University.

Additionally, 'Mind café' coffee shop, well-known for their specialty coffee, and loved by the Emirati Community, was also opened at the Mini Mart. Students will enjoy early morning coffee, pastries, and an assortment of sandwiches at the new café. The Mini-Mart caters to the needs of the students and faculty at Zayed University. Apart from sandwiches and coffee, the store, houses daily essentials, fresh fruits, salads, and snacks, maintained and managed by well-trained staff.

Prof. Reyadh Al Mehaideb, Vice-President of Zayed University, expressed the gratitude of the new campus addition. "This is one of many student services and facilities that truly engages and supports our students in their academic journey. Keeping in mind that hosting and maintaining a healthy and heartfelt environment for our students' forefronts our strategic objectives."

At the launch of the new concept 'Mini Mart', Mr. Mohammed Yousuf Al Khaja, General Manager of Emirates Co-operative Society said, "We have strategically partnered with Mind café to cater to the community at the prestigious Zayed University. We extend our discounts and special offerings to all the students and faculty of the University." 

Ms. Fatima Al Mutawa from Zayed University said, "We welcome the arrival of the brand new Mini Mart by Emirates Coop at the Zayed University, where our students and staff can shop at their convenience,"

Sharing the space with the talented Emirati Students, Mr. Sajjad Azees, Marketing Manager, Emirates Cooperative Society, said, "We have joined hands with the University to run the Student Entrepreneurship Program. We plan to give the young Emirati students an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial talent. The Students could exhibit and sell their Merchandize, prepared and designed by them, at the Mini Mart at an allocated area. Students who wish to be part of this program should fill in a form, which is available with the Zayed University Management." 

The fresh new design and contemporary approach to the Emirates Coop' Mini-Mart' have been implemented by the eminent Five Design Services. Five Design Services has been an incredible partner in the design of the Emirates Coop new concept stores in keeping with Emirates Coop's futuristic vision.
