ArabFinance: The Egyptian Railway Authority is currently in negotiations with the German company Siemens to enhance its railway fleet, a source told AlBorsa.
Egypt plans to receive 50 new locomotives (railway tractors) from Siemens.
The negotiations also include maintenance works for 50 of Siemens Henschel, a model that has been efficiently operating in Egypt since the 70s.
On March 31st, Egypt received 20 new locomotives from GE Transportation.
