South Korea’s Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Company has secured a contract worth $70 billion ($58 million) for supply of power-generating equipment for a project in the UAE, reported Pulse News.
 
As per the deal, Doosan will provide a 270-MW steam turbine and a 540-MW generator for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) combined cycle power plant under construction in Fujairah, UAE, stated the report, citing a company statement.
 
South Korea`s Samsung C&T Corp is participating in the 2,400 MW power plant project as an EPC contractor, it added.
