Abu Dhabi and Al Ain,: Audi Volkswagen Middle East (AVME) has certified two Master Technicians in the UAE, marking the first technicians to complete the qualification path regionally through the AVME Training Academy.

The Audi Master Technician certification is an intense program involving 77 days of training over four to five years. The examination specialty areas cover the topics of engine mechanical, management systems, power transmission, vehicle chassis, driver assistance, convenience and air-conditioning systems, diagnosis technologies, and infotainment along with customer facing and interaction skills.

Audi Abu Dhabi and Al Ain team members Jeba Durai and Binumon Babykutty, who have been with the company for seven and eight years respectively, were awarded Master Technician status following the completion of the rigorous training program and related examinations, based on the global network standards, via the AVME Training academy in Dubai.

A Master Technician’s role involves maintaining the global high standard of Audi aftersales services, as well as providing leadership and direction to other members of the service department. They are also responsible for training other technicians; monitoring and identifying their training needs and passing on brand knowledge.

“We are highly committed to providing our customers with the globally renowned service levels expected of Audi locally, and as part of this, we ensure that our team members are undergoing continuous training and development. The Audi Master Technician status demonstrates the great knowledge, skills, and competency of our team to perform their jobs at an advanced level. We are proud to announce that two of our team members have completed their certification through the regional head office, highlighting their ongoing commitment to serving our clients at the highest level,” commented Jeff Stagg, After Sales Manager at Audi Abu Dhabi.
