The region’s premier System Integrator, 3W Networks, was awarded to upgrade the Telecommunication Systems of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Transmission Control Centers (TCC) Warsan and Najma including installation and shifting of new multiplexers and network rearrangement around NAJMA, BKRA, JFZS 400Kv, GSTA, and HRSR substations.
3W Networks in partnership with leading manufacturer will integrate the latest next generation multi-service optical transmission platform including traffic migration and decommissioning of existing multiplexers to provide a large bandwidth, flexible deployment and high reliability optical network across DEWA control centre and substations.
The scope of work called for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning. A Factory Acceptance Test will be conducted at 3W Networks state-of-the-art Integration facilitiy in Dubai Silicon Oasis prior to installation at sites.
