ArabFinance: Al-Madkour Company for Integrated Engineering Projects has been awarded Toshka 3 project, a transformer station worth EGP 367 million and 50-kilometer length of connection line at EGP 150 million, according to Power news website.

Moreover, Elsewedy Electric for Trading and Distribution (EETD) has been awarded at Toshka 4, with a value of EGP 410 million, and a 60-kilometer length of connection line, worth EGP 170 million.

These stations come within the framework of feeding development projects in the Toshka region with the necessary capacity according to the state plan.

Earlier, EETD, a subsidiary of the listed Elsewedy Electric (SWDY), signed a contract with Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company to carry out an electricity project in Toshka.

Elsewedy is a provider of integrated energy solutions in Africa and the Middle East, and a manufacturer of cables and meters, especially smart meters.

The company has a portfolio incorporating all traditional and renewable energy areas along with related services.
