Cairo – Mubasher: The US dollar exchange rate slid against the Egyptian pound at seven local banks on Monday.

The greenback fell to EGP 15.89 for buying and EGP 15.99 for selling at Commercial International Bank (CIB) and Suez Canal Bank.

Meanwhile, the USD declined to EGP 15.09 for purchasing and EGP 16 for selling at Arab African International Bank (AAIB) and the United Bank.

In addition, the USD also went down to EGP 15.91 for buying and EGP 16.01 for selling at Credit Agricole, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, and Bank Audi.

It is noteworthy to mention that a banking sources said that the country attracted $3 billion worth of investments from several international financial institutions and funds during a month.
