Muslims performed Taraweeh in mosques across Bahrain amid strict Covid-19 precautionary measures.

Last year, prayers were suspended and worshippers performed Ramadan prayers at home.

Only Bahrainis and foreigners who had completed 14 days after the second vaccine dose or recovered from coronavirus were allowed into mosques designated by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

They had to show the electronic vaccine certificate on their mobile. Each worshipper had to bring his own mat and had to perform the prayers at a safe distance from others.
