Hotels in Abu Dhabi reported year-over-year declines in the three key performance metrics for the month of March , reflecting the circumstances around the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to STR's preliminary March data, occupancy was down 32.9 per cent to 55.1 per cent, with average daily rate dropping 32.6 per cent to Dh 333.92 and revenue per available room dipping 54.7 per cent to Dh183.86.
 
Daily data for the month showed 31 consecutive days of double-digit decreases in each of the three key performance metrics.
