UAE: The total value of the UAE's foreign tea trade reached AED 2.89 billion since the beginning of 2019 and until the first half (H1) of 2020.

The UAE's tea exports and imports amounted to AED 1.35 billion and AED 1.17 billion, respectively, according to the latest data by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA).

Meanwhile, the country recorded around AED 367 million in tea re-exports.

During the first half (H1) of 2020, the UAE's foreign tea trade registered about AED 1.03 billion, comprising AED 560 million exports, AED 399 million imports, and AED 75 million re-exports.

In 2019, the foreign tea trade in the UAE was valued at around AED 1.85 billion, with AED 793 million exports, AED 773 million imports, and AED 292 million re-exports.
