AMMAN — Minister of Labour and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Maen Qatamin and Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Barbara Joziass on Sunday discussed ways to develop bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic and investment fields with a focus on digital jobs.

During the meeting, Qatamin said the two countries' relations are based on joint cooperation and coordination in several fields, thanks to the support extended by the two countries' leaderships, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The minister also reviewed areas of cooperation between the two countries, most notably employment opportunities in digital jobs, especially that "Jordan is distinguished by its human resources".

The ministry is working to develop the curricula and courses of the Vocational Training Corporation to keep pace with the future requirements of the labour market, Qatamin said.

The Dutch envoy praised the level of bilateral relations, stressing her country's continued partnership with Jordan in many areas of joint cooperation and the need to strengthen it to serve the common interests of both countries.
