Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal Bank generated EGP 115.72 million in net profits during the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, slightly up from EGP 114.35 million in the year-ago period.

The bank’s net income from interest, fees, and commissions increased to EGP 439.61 million in the January-March period, compared to EGP 422.21 million in the same period in 2020, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

Over the course of 2020, the bank achieved net profits of EGP 601.66 million, up from EGP 542.2 million a year earlier.
