ArabFinance: Swedish telecom company Ericsson released worldwide an artificial intelligence (AI) software made by researchers at its hub in Egypt, the company said in a recent statement.

The Swedish telecom company's AI and Analytics Hub shipped its first Cognitive Software to be used by its customers worldwide to design and optimize networks, the statement highlighted.

" Our AI & Analytics Hub both leverages and collaborates with our customers in order to collectively drive the industrialization of new opportunities while enabling access to world-class talent from which we can recruit,” Eva Andrén, vice president and head of managed services at Ericsson Middle East and Africa, said.

The hub accelerated the execution of Ericsson's focused strategy in Egypt by using AI and automation technologies to create data-driven, intelligent products, and services, the company noted in the statement.

Ericsson Egypt is working on partial development of the telecommunication infrastructure of the New Administrative Capital, in cooperation with Telecom Egypt.
