Dubai –  Emirates District Cooling (Emicool) and Union Properties have successfully reached an agreement regarding the disruption of air conditioning services at the public facilities of Motor City.

The Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), the regulatory arm of the Dubai Land Department (DLD), sponsored the agreement between both companies, according to a statement released on Thursday.

"We at DLD, are keen to establish a safe and transparent real estate environment that guarantees the rights of all parties and contributes to enhancing the attractiveness of our real estate market,” CEO of the RERA Marwan bin Ghalita commented.

Union Properties agreed to guarantee payments to Emicool after the rescheduling of payments in collaboration with Owners Association (EDACOM).

Meanwhile, Emicool, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, will restore air conditioning services to the public facilities, recreational buildings and gyms in Motor City.

“Emicool has a proven track record of delivering premium services to some of Dubai’s largest projects by prioritising the comfort and happiness of residents through ensuring around-the-clock exceptional and continuous service,” CEO of Emicool Adib Moubadder said.

Situated on 38 million square feet, MotorCity is planned to include residential, business, sports and leisure facilities.
