The Iraqi government has included 99 projects in the Dhi Qar Governorate costing more than 344 billion Iraqi dinars ($236 million) within the governorate's Reconstruction Fund, an official has said.
 
Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Planning, told Zawya Projects that the announcement was made by the Minister of Planning, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, who also called on local and federal officials to expedite the implementation of these projects.
 
Al-Hindawi added that projects approved by the Ministry of Planning comprised of 27 projects in the municipal sector, 25 projects in the sewage sector, 15 projects in the roads and bridges sector, 21 projects in the electricity sector, 1 in the water sector and 10 in sports sector.
