Muscat: Omran Group has launched the commercial identity of the national travel operator, to initiate the launching of the first integrated digital platform for commercial customers in the travel and tourism sector.

A statement issued online by the Oman News Agency Agency (ONA), said: Oman Tourism Development Company, Omran Group, in cooperation with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, launches the commercial identity of the national travel operator in preparation for launching the first integrated digital platform to serve commercial customers in the travel and tourism sector in the Sultanate."

Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism said: The launch of the platform comes in implementation of an ambitious promotional plan that aims to make Oman one of the most exceptional destinations due to its competitive advantages.

"The platform will also be a vital factor in enhancing Oman's vision of raising the rate of local and international investments in the tourism sector, to attract 11.7 million tourists by 2040, including 5 million international tourists," the Minister of Heritage and Tourism added.
