Muscat: Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources will not be approving licences for fish meal and oil manufacturing activities.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources (MAFWR) issued a ministerial decision to stop receiving approval requests for licences for fish meal and oil manufacturing activities. The decision also included stopping capacity production expansion for licenced fish meal and oil manufacturing activities."
