Hawkamah, the leading regional centre for corporate governance based in Dubai and Nestor Advisors Ltd., a pioneering London-based "boutique" focusing on board governance consulting have signed a partnership agreement to jointly deliver certain services to clients in the Gulf region. The partnership is underpinned by the complementarity of their experience and their standard of excellence in delivering client services.
The first joint offering by Hawkamah and Nestor Advisors is a unique one-day board retreat during which the boards of large corporate or financial groups discuss key issues of governance, risk management and strategy facilitated by a senior Hawkamah-Nestor team.
The second service aims to assist GCC corporate and banking clients in designing and embedding effective governance across multi-entity groups. The growth and expansion of GCC groups in the region and beyond makes the development of group governance policies for the effective mapping and structuring of the complex relationships between parents and subsidiaries a key ingredient of successful governance and organisation.
