Leading building equipment maker Doosan Infracore said it has secured a major contract to supply a total of 25 excavators, including 20 of the 22-tonne DX220LCA model excavators and five 50-tonne DX480LCA models to a Saudi Arabian construction company, which is also a major partner of state oil giant Saudi Aramco.

This company has been using various types of Doosan Infracore equipment in large-scale construction projects in the kingdom.

Doosan Infracore said this was the second order following the purchase of 35 excavators and wheel loaders in March.

The Korean company has been netting solid sales in the Middle East market. Last month, it had won contracts for 102 excavators from Qatar.-TradeArabia News Service
