Bank ABC, Mena region’s leading international bank, has won the Global Finance World’s Best Treasury and Cash Management Banks 2022 Award for ‘Best Overall Bank for Cash Management’ in Bahrain and Tunisia.

This follows the bank’s pioneering strides in digital innovation and considerable investments in its operational infrastructure, products and human capital, which enhanced overall client experience and market reach.

The bank said in a Press note that this prestigious recognition is a testament to Bank ABC’s leading position and reputation for excellence in the Mena region, solidifying its mark as the preferred partner for bespoke cash management and transaction banking solutions.

The achievement came following Global Finance’s rigorous multi-tiered assessment process, which included entries and inputs from banks, industry analysts, corporate executives, technology experts and independent research. Submissions are evaluated on various subjective and objective criteria, including profitability, market share, customer service, pricing, innovation, and the extent to which nominees differentiated themselves in the industry.

Bank ABC has embarked on an ambitious wholesale banking digital transformation programme to build an intuitive ‘bank of the future’, one that is attuned to ever evolving client preferences.

In an endeavour to fulfil market gaps for smart digital solutions, the bank is merging best-of-breed technologies and an agile innovation approach to digitise its wholesale banking offering. This saw it launch the region’s first fully digital corporate onboarding service, enabling corporate banking clients to open an account in as fast as a day through a state-of-the-art self-service portal.

It is also on track to digitise its other transaction banking offerings to accelerate time-to-market solutions and provide an enhanced digital client experience.
