Bahrains strong ties with Saudi Arabia praised

Strong historical ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia came under the spotlight as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Saudi Shura Council Speaker Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh and his accompanying delegation at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

HRH Prince Salman noted that the ties continued to receive the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.He added that Bahrain was committed to strengthening co-operation across various fields for the benefit of both countries.

He welcomed Dr Shaikh Abdullah and the delegation to Bahrain and hoped that the visit would enhance parliamentary co-operation.The Saudi Shura Speaker expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH Prince Salman and highlighted his continued support to bolstering Bahrain-Saudi relations.Parliament Speaker Fouzia Zainal and Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh also attended.
