Bahrain's National Space Science Agency has taken part in a global forum on challenges and opportunities in the space industry.

Thirty-four experts in space sciences and related industries from the Islamic world took part in the Space Science: Importance, Challenges, and New Opportunities in the Space Industry and the Islamic World, in Morocco.

It was hosted by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation in partnership with the American Space Foundation.

Several topics, such as awareness of space ecosystems, the importance of space technology for humanity, space commerce and job opportunities available in the industry, and ways to qualify and develop the future workforce for innovation were discussed.
