Sharjah - The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department has allowed its employees to work remotely from home instead of coming to the department offices.

The move is in line with the UAE government ongoing efforts to reduce the risk of the pandemic Novel Coronavirus (Covid 19) infection and transmission.

The department has formed a committee led by Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Department, to ensure the continuity of the work distantly.

The head office and all branches across the emirate of Sharjah have been thoroughly disinfected, he said. “The finger print system has been replaced with ID cards as well.”

Al Shamsi added that the department has also regulated the entry of the customers visiting its offices with full observation of physical distancing.

“Most of the transactions are now being processed electronically via its website and virtual platform ‘Developers Gate’.”

“These are apart from the department social media accounts and the emails specified for processing customers’ transactions.”

The department spares no effort to ensure an uninterrupted flow of customers’ transactions, Al Shamsi underlined.

“The committee formed for following up employees’ work is meant to make sure that they are doing their job as perfect and fast as possible,” he stated, noting that all staff meetings are now held remotely online.
