Saudi Public Transport Company (Saptco) has signed a contract worth more than SR150 million ($40 million) with the Eastern Province Municipality for a major public bus transport project.
 
The project will be implemented in Dammam City and Al Qatif governorate within a period of five years, said Saptco in its filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
 
The project is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s revenues during the first half of 2022, it added.
