Manama: – National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) today celebrated the official opening and inauguration of its newly established, flagship branch at the Seef Mall under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB). The ceremony was attended by the Bank’s Board, management and staff, led by NBB Chairman, Mr. Farouk Yousuf Khalil Almoayyed, alongside some of the Bank’s long standing business and retail customers, partners and the media. 

The event saw guests receive an exclusive tour of the new premises where key features of the Bank’s new digital flagship model were unveiled and demonstrated. This includes a host of new technology driven tools and resources that help customers – both retail and business – more swiftly and effectively conclude their banking transactions either in branch or online. Additionally, guests were able to experience other new services aimed at enhancing the customer journey. This includes an onsite “Meet & Greet Service” to help guide and train customers on how to leverage the Bank’s new automated transaction machines as well other digital platforms and services, new dedicated counters and meeting rooms for business customers (corporates and small & medium enterprises – SMEs), who can now already transact online through NBB’s Business Online Banking, as well as a host of differentiated services for priority customers.

Commitment from NBB and across the Kingdom’s financial industry to digital innovation was the overarching theme to the event. Mr. Khalid Saad, CEO of Bahrain Fintech Bay of which NBB is a Founding Partner, delivered a presentation on the collective efforts underway to drive the advancement and adoption of financial technologies to meet evolving customer demands.
