ArabFinance: Egypts agricultural exports grew 10% Year on Year to 2.2 million tonnes during the first half of 2021, Agriculture Minister El Sayed El Quseir said in a statement.
Citrus fruits topped agricultural exports during the three-month period with 1.2 million tonnes exported, followed by potatoes with over 400,000 tonnes.
On April 7th, Egypt exported its first-ever shipment of orange to Japan after Japans lifting of a 25-year ban on citrus imports from Egypt.
