Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Microsoft today announced it will join forces with the global educational technology company Alef Education to work on redefining the classroom experience and supporting joint growth both on a regional and global level.

The framework for collaboration between Microsoft and Alef Education was set out in a memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed today by both companies focusing on integrating the Alef platform with Microsoft Office 365 & Teams while exploring ways to leverage the recently launched Microsoft Azure UAE Datacenter. The collaboration will be focused on empowering students, teachers and school leaders to experience a seamless interaction between the Alef platform and Microsoft product and services to combine powerful classroom tools to drive a better learning and classroom experience for the 21st century learner.

Commenting on the signing, Geoffrey Alphonso, CEO Alef Education said: “We are pleased to announce our strategic partnership with Microsoft today which will provide our learners and teachers with leading edge technology that will enhance the classroom experience. The Alef Education and Microsoft partnership will set the framework to explore deeper product and technical integrations in the near future.
