ZAGREB- Slovenia launched on Wednesday a 10-year international sustainability bond to raise 1 billion euros ($1.19 billion), setting the spread at mid-swaps plus seven basis points, lead managers said.

Bids surpassed 10 billion euros, according to memos from two lead managers seen by Reuters.

In January Slovenia tapped international markets with bonds jointly worth 2.5 billion euros.
