TOKYO, Oct 18 (Reuters) - Japan's Prime Minister FumioKishida said on Monday the country will urge oil producers toincrease output, and take necessary steps to cushion the blow toindustries hit by the recent surge in energy costs.

"We're closely watching the impact oil price moves have onthe domestic industry and people's livelihood," Kishida toldreporters.
