KUWAIT CITY : The holidays of Kuwait’s Independence Day and Liberation Day will fall on Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26 respectively.

Thursday, February 27 will be considered as a holiday since it falls between a public holiday and the weekend, based on the Cabinet’s decision No. 4/1979 issued on July 22, 1979 concerning public holidays, and amendments to it through decision No. 252 concerning the transfer of some public holidays, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

They stressed that, based on these two decision, the National Days holidays will be from Tuesday, February 25 to Saturday, February 29, adding that official work will resume on March 1 without the need for a new decision from the Cabinet.
