ArabFinance: The Egyptian Lawyers Syndicate will be closed for two weeks, the newly elected Head of the syndicate Ragai Attia announced.

Effective from March 22nd, the syndicate will remain locked down until April 2nd, he elaborated.

This decision has been reached after several members of the syndicate tested positive for the new coronavirus (COVID-19), Attia recently unveiled.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Mohamed Abdel Wahab, a member of the syndicate, and his family have been infected with the new virus.

Upon the latest updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, Egypt announced a total of 366 cases.
