Twenty-three expats have been granted Omani citizenship, according to a royal decree.

The announcement was made as Oman celebrated its 48th National Day on Sunday.

The royal decree No. 32/2018 provided a list of the names of the individuals who were granted Omani citizenship, according to Times of Oman.

A military parade was held to celebrate the National Day.
