RIYADH: Maintenance companies will now find it easier to offer services to landlords thanks to a new service from the Saudi government, SPA reported.

The Mullak Program, created by the Ministry of Housing, has launched a new platform that allows property managers and maintenance and operation companies to present their services to owners’ associations.

The aim is to regulate and facilitate the relationship between associations and service providers.

The service will also provide job opportunities for real estate managers, individuals or companies, and investment opportunities for maintenance and operation companies, Mullak said in a statement on Friday.

It will also provide a safe and sustainable environment that preserves the rights of the association’s owners and occupants of real estate units, according to the statement.

The Mullak Program was launched by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, and put into effect in September 2020, with the aim of establishing a relationship between landlords and joint-ownership housing unites occupants through the establishment of regulations, control mechanisms, and property and facilities management services.
