ArabFinance: Mohamed Maait, Egypt’s finance minister, announced a support of EGP 70 million to the Ministry of Social Solidarity, according to a March 25th statement.


This provision will be used to pay required compensations for the citizens whose houses were damaged from the recent bad weather that hit the country.

In addition, the finance ministry has allocated EGP 25 million for the social solidarity ministry to pay the compensations and allowances for citizens in Sinai.

This translates to a total allotment of EGP 95 million by the government.
