Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s leading integrated tourism complex (ITC), has announced that the residential units within the first two phases of its newly launched residential neighbourhood, Murooj Lanes, have been sold out within 48 hours of its release.
A premium oceanfront community project, Murooj Lanes is located within the popular Ghadeer District and close to the marina and championship golf course in the sultanate's capital and supported by a comprehensive mix of leisure, retail and community facilities.
Al Mouj Muscat is a public-private venture between the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Omran and Tanmia, which is now home to over 6,000 residents from 85 different nationalities.
The Ghadeer District sits close to the marina and championship golf course, within easy strolling distance of The Walk with its varied mix of cafes and restaurants.
In addition, there are first-class community facilities including a school, nursery, mosque, beach and parks, swimming pools, gyms, cycle and jogging paths.
The successful launch of Murooj Lanes reflects attractive pricing options particularly suited to first-time investors and home owners, with studio apartments starting from RO53,000 ($137,275) and a three-bed townhouse costing from RO155,000 ($401,464).
On the record sale, CEO Nasser Al Sheibani said: "We are delighted by the enthusiastic response to Murooj Lanes and we are confident that Phase Three will be equally successful given the winning combination of pricing, location and flexibility where buyers can reserve a property with as little as a 5 per cent down payment."
Al Mouj Muscat has already started taking bookings for Phase Three of Murooj Lanes, where prices are at a similar level as the previous two phases.
"Whilst the addition of Murooj Lanes builds on what’s available when it comes to the choice of homes, Al Mouj Muscat has become far more than a built environment," noted Al Sheibani.
"It is a thriving, warm community where those who live, work and play here, can enjoy a high quality of life and well-being as well as a sense of belonging," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
