DUBAI - The crime rates and traffic accidents have dropped in Lehbab, a village south of Dubai city.

Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-chief for Criminal Investigations Affairs, was told this during his inspection visit to Lehbab police station, where he encouraged staff to maintain excellence in the delivery and development of services provided to the public, allowing customers to complete their transactions smoothly and easily, as per the organisational excellence standards.

Al Mansouri, accompanied by a number of senior officers, was greeted by Colonel Ali Rashid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of Lehbab police station.

He inspected the readiness of staff as well as services provided, and expressed his admiration of the distinguished level and efforts made by the Lehbab police station in reducing traffic related accidents and crime rates in the area.

Security programmes at Lehbab station, which covers 639 square kilometres of Dubai, adopted innovative initiatives including: Transparency Hour, the Pulse of Happiness, Women Affairs Smart Programme, Feedbacks and Suggestions Programme, and the Open Door initiative.
