Sharjah: The Asset Management Sector of Sharjah Asset Management Company (the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah) has launched a "Sharrai" platform and application, with the aim of supporting the sale and purchase of cars in Souq Haraj. Facilitating car trade operations and advancing the economy by keeping pace with technological development in all sectors, this platform follows the strategic objectives of the Emirate of Sharjah which are based on achieving sustainable economic prosperity centered upon innovation and development.

 The digital platform and the smart application of "Sharrai" provides the opportunity for both merchants and the public, to easily shop at Souq Al-Haraj for cars and to display both used and brand-new vehicles. This enables merchants to reach a wide range of dealers and customers from the local, regional, and global markets, according to the best technical standards.

Mohammad Bin Essa, Chief Officer, Asset Management Sector at Sharjah Asset Management, stated that, “We seek to provide and launch quality innovative projects that will build a competitive economy for the Emirate of Sharjah, while achieving high and distinguished rates of demand for its digital platforms, in light of its keenness to achieve and translate its strategies. Moreover, we aim for the implementation of its vision to increase returns from investment activities, ameliorate asset management and enhance the economic development of the Emirate of Sharjah.”

Mohammad Bin Essa added that, “Through the launch of the “Sharrai” digital platform and smart application, we will enter a new phase of e-commerce, which will benefit the merchants of Souq Al-Haraj. Moreover, the users of the “Sharrai” platform and application will be able to include all merchants, companies, and individuals. Those from inside and outside the country will benefit from all services, as part of the plans to expand the scope of use.”

It is worth noting that Sharjah Asset Management seeks to provide an innovative and stimulating work environment; one which always guarantees uninterrupted services and achieves its overall objectives and vision to boost sustainable development in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE.
