Dubai, UAE – Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai is excited to announce two newly appointed members to the Executive Committee. The hotel proudly announces Figen Caglar as the new Director of Sales and Marketing and Natashia Hajee as the new Director of Communications.

Figen Caglar has 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for over 10 years. Prior to joining Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, Figen was Director of Sales and Marketing for Shangri-La Hotel, Doha and Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul. She worked with the Mövenpick and Hyatt brands before, including the opening of Park Hyatt in Istanbul.

In her role, Caglar will lead the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts and commercial strategies, while reinforcing Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai as the hotel of choice for travellers. She will also be in charge of penetrating new markets while ensuring short and long term business goals are met.

Natashia Hajee is also no stranger to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and has worked within the company for over three years. She will be responsible for all marketing and communication initiatives throughout the hotel, agency relationships, event sponsorships and guest communications.
