Schneider Electric offers universities, engineers free access to online learning

Available in 14 languages, including English, Arabic and French, the Energy University offers more than 150 online courses in energy efficiency and data center management focusing on infrastructure, industry, buildings, residential, as well as data centers and networks.

The courses, which last no more than an hour each and can be taken at anytime and anywhere, are designed to help anyone involved in the management, planning, design, or construction of a space impacted by energy, to address efficiency issues and apply safe, reliable and cost-effective measures. The curriculum has been designed by subject matter experts, and new courses are regularly being added to the Energy University. Anyone using the resource can choose to take up a number of professional development paths focusing on subjects such as energy efficiency and energy management.

The site includes additional resources, including white papers and case studies. Courses count towards certifications, education credits for a number of bodies, and two industry-wide qualifications, the Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA) and Professional Energy Manager (PEM).
