Riyadh – The value of goods handled in Saudi ports amounted to SAR 568.24 billion over the period from the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic until 11 October 2020, Saudi Customs said on Monday.

The Saudi authority reiterated that it has applied high prevention standards to ensure a safe trade movement across the ports.

A total of 109.56 million tonnes of goods were handled through 36 ports.

Last month, the authority said it handled SAR 352.639 billion worth of goods during the period from the beginning of the global health crisis until 5 September 2020.
