Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) has launched new packages to support the e-commerce industry during its participation at Seamless Middle East 2021, which is running until September 30 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

AFZ is highlighting its registration and license packages that are exclusive to e-commerce businesses.

Ali AlSuwaidi, Director General of Ajman Free Zone, said: “Home to more than 9,000 companies across all industries, Ajman Free Zone is known for its attractive environment suited to ensure the success of all types of businesses, including those in the e-commerce sector.

“To further support their business expansion, we are offering special packages on top of providing extensive assistance and value-added services. This is part of our commitment to boosting the local e-commerce sector as an active participant of Seamless Middle East 2021.

“Our efforts are directed towards strengthening the cooperation and coordination between local and foreign industry leaders and solutions providers to boost the e-commerce sector's performance and growth. With our award-winning services and an environment conducive to enterprise growth, we are confident that these businesses will experience great success,” AlSuwaidi added.

As part of its incentives to e-commerce companies, AFZ offers an exemption from registration fees for businesses in this sector, as well as a special package for start-ups worth AED5,600 ($1,525) to help them start their business at an affordable rate, and expedite the whole procedure with integrated online services.

AFZ also provided a feature for all companies to engage in e-commerce activities in addition to their current business operations, to keep pace with the transformation happening in the e-commerce sector.

Seamless Middle East is a conference and exhibition that focuses on the payments, fintech, banking, retail, e-commerce, and cards and identity sectors. Now in its 21st year, the event has featured some of the biggest industry names in the Middle East and beyond. – TradeArabia News Service
